Job summary

Turo in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Supervisor for Trust & Safety Investigations. You will lead a team of investigators handling vehicle crimes, critical incidents, and platform risks, while guiding casework and ensuring compliance with privacy standards.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, drive performance, and develop workflows to improve investigation quality and speed. This in-office role requires collaboration and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supervising or managing high-performing teams, with coaching and development.
• 4+ years in operational or investigative role, preferably Trust & Safety or risk management.
• Strong investigative skills to analyze complex information and derive insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate, manage performance, and foster collaboration.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; quick to learn new tools.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and high integrity.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends/holidays for 24/7 operations.
• Demonstrates Turo principles in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Trust & Safety Investigators responsible for vehicle crimes, incidents, and platform risks.
• Provide case management support, guidance, and oversight to ensure timely investigations.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and coaching new team members and ongoing development.
• Set performance expectations and coach toward advanced investigative techniques.
• Review reports for accuracy, completeness, and privacy compliance.
• Develop investigative strategies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify trends in auto theft and platform risks; report findings to leadership.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve operational challenges and improve processes.
• Serve as a point of contact for law enforcement and external partners.
• Lead projects from inception to completion while maintaining team alignment.
• Foster a positive team culture and enterprise engagement, including weekends as needed.
