Job summary

Turo Inc. is seeking a Senior Investigator for the Complex Investigations Unit to own and drive high impact investigations that protect the platform and users.

You will lead multi-agency cases, preserve evidence, and coordinate with federal partners to support ongoing intelligence sharing. The role requires strong written communication, meticulous data analysis, and the ability to respond to exigent events outside standard hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in fraud or financial crime investigations or related law enforcement work.
• Experience handling complex investigations, evidence preservation, and legal standards.
• Ability to manage multiple high-complexity investigations concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned CIU cases, including exigent response and multi-agency investigations.
• Coordinate federal investigations and partnerships with agencies such as HSI, CBP, CHP, and other task forces.
• Prepare data packages and legally reviewed reporting to support intelligence sharing with partners.
• Coordinate vehicle recovery operations (Mexico), GPS/VIN verification, NICB liaison, and claims coordination.
• Respond to exigent events outside normal hours and maintain standby readiness.
• Prepare certified business records declarations and sworn declarations; provide court testimony as needed.
• Develop CIU SOPs and strengthen operational infrastructure.
