Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinating tasks after instruction from a General Foreperson or Supervisor. You will lead field training, enforce safety standards, and work toward efficient, productive outcomes on job sites.

You must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to work at heights with arms overhead. Union dues are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understands drawings and symbols for lines and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of independent action without close supervision.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight not exceeding ~300 pounds due to equipment.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA standards; delivers safety training.
