Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to oversee daily crew activities and ensure safe, efficient line clearance work. You will coordinate tasks, train crew members, and communicate with property owners to obtain access and scope of work.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to safety standards, and effective customer relations in a field-based utility environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per company policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Discusses with property owners issues such as access and work scope; refers complex cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
