Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily operations and lead field crews. You will coordinate tasks, enforce safety protocols, and communicate with property owners to obtain access for required work.

The role involves training crew members, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient use of resources. A strong emphasis on safety and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and stay organized.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per OSHA and company policies.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners; escalates to General Foreperson as needed.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance and costs.
• Furnishes reports on incidents, truck breakdowns, and equipment needs.
