Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinate tasks, ensure safety, and work with management on hiring and training needs.

The role requires strong leadership, field readiness, and the ability to manage equipment, records, and customer relations while adhering to DOT and OSHA standards. This is a full-time, non-exempt position offering competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Possess organization skills and be able to multi-task.
• Capable of adjusting to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies, with safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners.
• Obtains permission to perform required work from property owners.
• Promotes good customer relations through effective completion of assigned work.
