Job summary

Mariani Enterprises LLC is seeking a Lead Climber Foreperson to join our tree-care team in our nationwide network. Candidates should have at least 3 years of climbing experience and a passion for arboriculture, with a commitment to safety, quality, and the highest standards of client service.

You will lead a crew, perform rope and saddle climbing, bucket truck operations, pruning, rigging, and site assessments, while training others and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree climbing and arbor care.
• Strong knowledge of tree biology, diseases, pests, structural issues, and pruning techniques.
• Proficiency with climbing equipment and safe practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew and train ground crew and new climbers to ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices.
• Perform rope and saddle climbing, bucket truck operations, aerial lift operations, chipper operation, pruning, rigging, and A300 standards for tree care.
• Assess hazards and navigate trees safely with knowledge of species and defects.
• Plan and execute tree maintenance, removal, and planting projects.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain records of work, equipment usage, and safety inspections.
