Qualifications

• Familiarity with NCDOT planning, prioritization, programming, and project delivery processes.
• Professional engineer registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of STIP and non-STIP projects during the scoping phase to ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Ensure products meet quality expectations with initial scope and cost estimates.
• Maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Track project changes and identify risks and opportunities.
• Communicate status and documentation to managers, teams, and stakeholders.
• Analyze environmental data and highway design information.
• Oversee private engineering firms and administer contracts.
