Job summary

A multi-discipline engineering firm in North Carolina is seeking a Director of Engineering with a strong background in Highway, Bridge, or Traffic engineering. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of progressive experience, a North Carolina P.E. license, and proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation. This role involves managing transportation-related projects and leading a team in a collaborative environment focused on employee satisfaction and diversity. Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, MS preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience in Highway, Bridge, or Traffic preferred.
  • North Carolina P.E. license.
  • NCDOT experience required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers and designers.

  • Prepare or review written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports.
