Job summary

OSEH Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead complex transportation infrastructure projects in the Chicago region. A licensed PE with a strong roadway/transportation design background is preferred to guide multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction.

Responsibilities include client liaison, scope and schedule management, and ensuring compliance with standards while mentoring junior staff. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• Experience managing transportation infrastructure projects from design through construction.
• Experience with public agencies such as IDOT, Illinois Tollway, CDOT, or local municipalities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation engineering projects from concept through construction.
• Lead teams of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements.
• Review technical reports, plans, specs, estimates, and project documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Participate in public meetings, presentations, and client communications.
• Oversee quality control processes for project deliverables.
