Job summary

PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking a Lead Transportation Driver to oversee daily transportation operations for program participants. The role includes scheduling, backup coordination, and ensuring safety and compliance across CSI vehicles.

The candidate must hold a valid CDL Class B with a Passenger endorsement, have supervisory experience, and be capable of managing changing circumstances and childcare transportation needs with care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage scheduling of transportation to and from the center.
• Serve as backup Transportation Coordinator in their absence.
• Report customer feedback and handle complaints.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and safety logs are up to date.
• Prepare daily route sheets and assign escorts and routes.
• Distribute medications to drivers as needed and manage real-time changes.
