Job summary

ADUSA Transportation is seeking a Transportation Lead to support dispatch activities, coordinate delivery schedules and lead daily operations. This role works across logistics, COP, corporate, vendors, dispatch, retail and drivers to maintain standards and exceptional service.

You will be seen as a go-to person in the office under the Transportation Supervisor or Manager, handling daily tasks, issues and special projects with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be proficient with personal computers and office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations along with Transportation Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist with dispatch office activities.
• Responsible for getting store directions.
• Assist in trailer inventory and monitoring of trailers on yard.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company standards in accuracy, safety and productivity.
• Handle calls from store personnel, vendors, and partners regarding service issues and requests.
• Coordinate loads for efficient and timely deliveries to stores.
• Collaborate with Fleet Manager on trailer inventory, utilization and reporting.
• Work with other departments to achieve production standards.
• Occasional overnight travel and flexible schedule.
