Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to coordinate scheduling and movement of shipments for multiple customers and to supervise Class A drivers. You will manage daily dispatch operations, customer communication, shipment tracking, and driver performance to ensure safe, efficient service.

The role includes driver hiring, training, and performance management, working closely with operations, maintenance, and HR to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or trucking operations is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers and drivers.
• Dispatch loads and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Plan routes, payloads, equipment, and transportation modes.
• Track shipments and provide timely status updates to customers.
• Oversee daily dispatch operations and driver performance.
