Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Transportation Lead to support dispatch activities, lead training, and ensure production standards within the transportation department. This role requires coordination with multiple internal teams and external partners to maintain high service levels.

The position involves daily leadership responsibilities, collaboration with the Transportation Manager, and handling special projects while ensuring compliance with safety and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatch office activities and support daily operations.
• Manage store directions and trailer inventory monitoring.
• Suggest procedural improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with Delhaize America safety and productivity standards.
• Handle calls from stores, vendors, and partners on service issues.
• Support load coordination for timely deliveries and overnight travel as needed.
