Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward who will shape how data is defined, shared, and reused across HDR. This leadership role sits within the Transportation Business Group and coordinates experts to enable consistent data practices across disciplines and service lines.

You will empower teams to define data once, use it consistently, and reuse it across projects. This role focuses on enablement, collaboration, and driving analytics-ready data to support HDR’s delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Ten years of strategic leadership experience in data-centric solutions and services.
• Experience growing and leading teams in change management with data.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into practical guidance for delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Define data standards and coordinate SME input across the Transportation BG.
• Develop business-aligned data definitions supporting models, reporting, automation and AI.
• Promote data quality, governance, and reuse across projects and time.
• Lead change management to drive adoption of data standards, practices, and tools.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Science and Data Operations teams for alignment and delivery.
