RK&K's Construction Management Team is hiring a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor I or II to support the greater Pittsburgh region. Preference for candidates with PennDOT TCIS/TCI-3 experience and the required certifications.

The role centers on supervising project elements as an owner's representative, liaising with field staff, contractors, design teams, federal and state agencies, and citizens; reviewing plans, specs, and standards; and ensuring quality workmanship and contract

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year PennDOT TCI-3 or higher with three certifications.
• Alternate paths with NICET III or higher and PennDOT/NecEPT certifications.
• Four years PennDOT TCI-3 with two of three certifications.
• Five years transportation inspection with all three certs or NICET IV.
• Six years supervision/management experience in transportation inspection.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise assigned elements of projects as an owner’s representative to ensure contract compliance.
• Assist in communication liaison between field staff, contractor, design team, federal and state agencies, and citizens.
• Review and understand the project plans, contract documents, specifications and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to the client and ensure the final product is quality work.
• Track project schedule and make recommendations.
• Participate in project meetings to include progress meetings and pre-activity meetings.
• Interact and build relationships.
