Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor I or II to work mainly in the Pittsburgh area. The role requires PennDOT TCIS/TCI-3 experience and various certifications, with potential for growth within our Construction Management team.

You will supervise field staff, review plans, coordinate with designers and agencies, and ensure contract compliance and quality work. This position offers competitive compensation and benefits within a respected firm.

Qualifications

• Must have PennDOT experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI-3) or higher.
• Multiple certification combinations acceptable as listed in the job description.
• Bachelor's substitution rules and PE license substitutions apply as described.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project elements as owner's representative to ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate between field staff, contractor, design team, agencies and citizens.
• Review project plans, contract documents, specs and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to the client and ensure quality final product.
• Track project schedule and make recommendations.
• Participate in progress meetings and pre-activity meetings.
• Interact and build relationships with stakeholders.
