PG&E is seeking a senior-level supervisor to lead teams in maintaining and building transmission lines and substations within the Oakland area. You will ensure safe, reliable service while complying with regulatory requirements and internal safety standards.

Travel across the service territory is expected for this role. The position involves overseeing construction activities, identifying complex field solutions, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Seven (7) years of related experience.
• Regular travel throughout the service territory for T300 Supervisors.
• May need to be on-call or work unusual hours in emergency situations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction activities of awarded contracts to ensure compliance with PG&E, state and federal regulations.
• Identify and respond to complex field decisions using technical knowledge, considering cost, risk, safety, quality and customer impact.
• Ensure construction work is completed on time and within budget and to quality expectations, while monitoring compliance with standards and specs.
• Monitor ongoing projects and work efforts, review practices for efficiencies and deficiencies, provide feedback and follow up with stakeholders.
• Develop and execute action plans to address deficiencies in process or employee skill/knowledge and track progress.
• Maintain work relationships and networks, interact with local government for permit acquisition as needed.
• Complete and maintain all documentation or reporting, optimize resource use through crew productivity monitoring.
• Meet customers' needs and expectations, provide professional transmission and distribution support in field situations while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.
• Lead recruitment, training, performance management and recognition for staff/teams.
• Develop Close-Out plans to expediently complete construction activities.
• Lead weekly team meetings and tailboards; conduct training as needed.
• Handle regulatory notices and environmental compliance, adhere to CAL/OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Regularly visit work sites to monitor progress and readiness for emergencies; participate in planning and design reviews to reduce costs and increase safety.
