Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten years in electric utility industry with leadership experience.
• Must travel across the service territory.
• May be on-call or work unusual hours in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains and constructs the electric system in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manages large capital and operating budgets to complete work per the Operating Plan.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve productivity and reduce costs while supporting system reliability.
• Communicates safety issues under high-pressure conditions to customers.
• Establishes assessment systems to ensure procedures are followed.
• Leads staff through recruitment, training, performance management and recognition.
• Oversees decisions for complex field situations and enforces safe practices.
• Collaborates with peers and external agencies to improve business results.
• Ensures training is completed and documented.
