Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a supervisor to lead teams responsible for maintaining and building transmission lines and substations in the Oakland area. The role focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable service delivery.

The position requires extensive field oversight, coordination with regulators, and strong leadership to drive on-time, on-budget project execution in a dynamic utility environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Seven (7) years of related experience.
• Regular travel throughout the service territory for T300 Supervisors.
• May need to be on-call or work unusual hours in emergency situations.
• Leadership experience is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction activities of awarded contracts to ensure compliance with PG&E, state and federal regulations.
• Identify and react to complex field decisions, adjusting plans as needed for cost, risk, safety and customer impact.
• Ensure construction work is on time, within budget and to quality expectations.
• Monitor projects and provide feedback to improve efficiency and procedures.
• Develop action plans to address deficiencies in process or skills and track progress.
• Interact with local government for permits and maintain relationships with internal teams.
• Complete and maintain all work documentation and reporting.
• Ensure customer needs are met and provide clear, proactive communication with partners while maintaining compliance.
• Lead recruiting, training, and development of staff; manage performance.
• Develop Close-Out plans to complete construction activities expediently.
• Facilitate weekly team meetings and tailboards; provide training as needed.
• Respond to NOV/NOC and environmental compliance requirements.
• Regularly visit work sites to monitor progress and readiness for emergencies.
