The position requires strong knowledge of P&C circuits, remote logic testing, and thorough documentation. Onsite work at multiple sites with after-hours availability and relocation within North/South Carolina are possible.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology required.
  • 3+ years related work experience required for Tech II.
  • If no Associate’s degree, High School/GED with 5+ years related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Has professional safety behavior and high expectations for safe work practices.
  • Leads construction and maintenance activities of any complexity.
  • Performs remote logic testing using MB tester and time-synched test sets.
  • Interprets drawings and existing conditions to identify design errors.
  • Installs, commissions, tests and troubleshoots relays and associated equipment.
  • Ensures paperwork and files are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Leads relay installation portions of mobile substations/transformers or temporary equipment.
