Qualifications

• Eight years of related engineering work experience
• Registration as a Professional Engineer required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of protection and substation standards and relay settings for transmission systems.
• Provide technical leadership for protection schemes, coordination studies, and settings documentation.
• Ensure all work aligns with Duke Energy Safety Manual and applicable laws.
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication to present information and guide teams and contractors.
• Mentor other engineers and assist Relay C&M teams as needed.
