American Electric Power seeks a Protection and Control (P&C) Engineer within the Transmission System Operations Engineering (TSOE) organization. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent).
• Master's or PhD in engineering may qualify for senior entry.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology with PE license considered if required.

• Provide engineering support for commissioning and verification of planned and unplanned work on the transmission grid.
• Review upcoming system outages for configuration changes.
• Review drawings and project information to ensure records match as-built condition.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify process improvements and ensure accurate facility ratings and relay settings.
