Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Manager of Engineering to lead transmission line engineering teams across the region and drive high‑quality, cost‑competitive services. You will participate in business development and corporate initiatives, shaping strategies and objectives.

You will manage and develop teams, ensure adherence to company values, and provide oversight of scope, schedules, and budgets, while maintaining client relationships and delivering innovative engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 15+ years of related engineering experience, through consulting or utilities, is required.
• Project management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop engineering teams.
• Support business development activities and grow the business in your region.
• Uphold Pickett’s values, brand promises, and code of conduct; foster a positive environment for growth.
• Provide project oversight, manage scope, develop change orders, and maintain schedules and budgets.
• Maintain high quality and responsiveness to client requirements in line with Pickett’s standards.
• Oversee transmission line design activities and quality assurance.
• Interact regularly with clients, maintain relationships, and develop new ones.
