Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, seeks a Lead Engineer to provide leadership and senior engineering expertise on complex HV/EHV transmission design projects.

You will supervise a team of engineers and drafters, ensure client requirements and schedules are met, and guide line routing, PLS-CADD modeling, structure and foundation design, and procurement. PE certification and 10+ years in transmission line engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 10+ years of transmission line engineering experience in the electric utility industry is required.
• Extensive experience using PLS-CADD is required.
• Experience with design codes and standards (NESC, IEEE, ASCE, ACI) is required.
• Experience liaising with substation, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead teams.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to safety regulations.
