Job summary

Actalent seeks a Transmission Line Engineer to join the Transmission Line Engineering Department. You will perform design and analysis for large utility projects and prepare construction documents while coordinating with in-house and client engineers.

You will mentor lower-level engineers and lead projects as needed, with occasional site travel. The role is based in New Albany, OH, with a fully remote work option, and a pay range of $40.00–$55.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degrees required.
• Master's degree may count toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineer design activities related to Transmission Line Engineering.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications.
• Design transmission line facilities for 69 kV–765 kV.
• Lead, train, and mentor engineers and coordinate with teams.
• Occasional travel to project sites.
