Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Supervisor, Transmission Construction to supervise field construction management and inspection activities for transmission line and substation projects in Eastern Massachusetts.

The role leads Transmission Construction Representatives and collaborates with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, and Contract Administration to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-10+ years of experience in construction, maintenance, utility operations, or related industries.
• Experience supporting transmission line and/or substation construction projects.
• Strong understanding of transmission construction practices, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of transmission system operations, maintenance, and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field construction management and construction inspection activities for transmission line and substation projects.
• Lead Transmission Construction Representatives and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, and Contract Administration.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Oversee contractor resources and manage union and non-union teams when applicable.
