Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director to lead Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence across multiple U.S. offices, including Houston.

The role involves managing engagement teams, advising on transaction risks, and delivering integrated due‑diligence services with strong financial analysis. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in financial due diligence, holds a CPA or in process, and shows mastery of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifikationen

• 8–10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and/or related major; CPA or in process of obtaining one.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
• Effectively lead the team in conversations with clients and lenders.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with senior leaders.
• Oversee all aspects of deals with minimal guidance.
• Identify transaction risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
