Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Lead Trainer for the 1st shift to guide onboarding and training at the Greenwood, AL plant. You will coordinate with supervisors, deliver approved courses, and oversee trainee progress on the shop floor.

The role pays $22.83 per hour, with eligibility for a variable incentive program and core hours 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Strong leadership, communication, and organization are essential, with 3+ years of manufacturing experience and 1 year teaching.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience teaching and training others.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisors to transition trainees onto the plant floor with assigned trainers.
• Evaluate new employees with 30-, 60-, and 90-day checks.
• Own tracking, documentation, and overall process for trainees/trainers.
• Develop and deliver training courses across functions.
• Support and deliver New Employee Orientation.
• Address training needs for Front End and Manufacturing areas.
