Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Team Lead - Assembly for 1st shift at Greenwood, SC. Hourly rate starts at $23.77 with a $1.00 shift differential and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities include leading the assembly team, coordinating production schedules, maintaining quality and safety, and driving continuous improvement across the line. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to standard work and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Must live within 50 miles of job location.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 1 year of assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Sustainment of 5S+ in all responsible areas.
• Provide leadership and direction of work for team, ensuring products are assembled correctly and efficiently.
• Maintain and monitor all safety protocols ensuring team is wearing proper PPE.
• Manage and supervise assembly line operations, including scheduling and task assignments.
• Ensure that team members follow defined assembly procedures and comply with quality requirements.
• Train new assembly line workers on procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing training and support to team members to achieve high standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all storage areas are to 5S standards.
• Ensure excess and obsolete material is identified, approved and disposed in timely fashion.
• Guide and oversee work operations to respond positively to unusual situations, changes, material shortages, and varying manpower requirements.
• Report production metrics to the supervisor or operations manager.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
