Job summary

Watco is looking for a Foreman to safely inspect, repair and maintain railroad track infrastructure and to supervise Track Laborer and Trackman teams to ensure reliable service. You will read safety rules and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure quality work under tight deadlines.

The role requires experience with track operations, strong communication, outdoor work readiness, and a commitment to safety training and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must recognize problems and apply instructions.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Track Safety Standards and related rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Track Laborer, Trackman, and Truck Driver/Machine Operator.
• Inspect, load/unload, install track components and ballast to standards.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Coordinate work with departments and ensure timely reporting.
