Job summary

Celnet seeks an experienced Tower Technician III / Top Hand to join our wireless team. The role leads tower construction, installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting while prioritizing safety on towers and ground.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of climbing experience, a valid ComTrain Tower Climbing Safety & Rescue Certification, a clean driving record, and a willingness to travel 100% of the time. You will lead safety-focused crews and ensure OSHA compliance on active sites.

Qualifications

3–5 years of recent tower climbing or similar wireless telecommunications experience.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Willingness to travel 100% of the time.
Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.
Strong understanding of tower climbing safety and fall-protection practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform tower climbing and ground-level activities during wireless construction and maintenance projects.
Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless equipment as directed by Foreman or Construction Manager.
Promote a strong culture of safety, professionalism, cost control, and asset management.
Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards on job sites.
Communicate effectively with Foreman, team members, customers, and corporate personnel.
Assist with daily planning, training, and problem-solving on job sites.
