Job summary

Exyte seeks a Tool Install Design Manager to ensure design activities meet project standards, budget, and schedule. You will supervise and manage design efforts, coordinate with engineering teams, and report progress to the Project Manager.

You will guide team leaders, manage change orders, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong client relations and deliverables quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience showing increasing responsibility leading teams.
• 2+ years in Tool Install.

Responsibilities

• Ensures design and production process follow company processes and budget/schedule.
• Leads a team of engineers/designers to create and document designs meeting scope and standards.
• Coordinates work of design leads and teams producing tool install construction documents.
• Ensures schedule requirements are met and coordinates with the schedule team.
• Oversees change orders with design leads and manages project budgets with Project Controls.
• Acts as main client contact, facilitates weekly status meetings and communications.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives across the project team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
