Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional tool install design projects in high-tech semiconductor environments. You will drive scope, schedule, and client expectations, coordinating among architects, engineers, constructors, and tool owners to ensure installations meet specifications.

This role emphasizes rigorous schedule development, risk management, budget control, and adherence to cleanroom and safety standards while mentoring junior managers and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of PM experience in advanced technology or manufacturing facilities.
• PMP certification highly desired.
• Experience with cross-time-zone teams and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, understand, and manage the scope of work, schedule, and budget of various design packages.
• Lead the end-to-end execution of tool install design projects, from initial equipment specifications and utility matrix development through to final hook-up, commissioning, and client handover.
• Develop and manage detailed tool-level installation schedules, ensuring critical path milestones are met to support the client's First Tool and Ready for Equipment dates.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the design team, trade contractors, and client tool owners to resolve conflicts regarding space management, utility routing, and POC details.
• Maintain strict control over project budgets, managing change orders related to tool configuration shifts and ensuring procurement of long-lead infrastructure components aligns with the installation sequence.
• Enforce EHS standards and cleanroom protocols, ensuring installation activities are performed safely.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to utility capacity, seismic bracing, and vibration isolation for sensitive equipment.
• Follow change management procedures to document and authorize project changes in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned to optimize delivery methodologies and client satisfaction.
• Offer mentorship and training to fellow Project Managers on complex design challenges in high technology projects.
