Job summary

SSOE Group in Santa Clara, CA seeks an Engineering Project Manager (Tool Install Design Lead) to direct multidisciplinary semiconductor facility projects. You will collaborate with lead engineers, manage scope and schedule, and serve as the primary design liaison to client Tool Experts, ensuring alignment between SSOE’s technical approach and client expectations.

You co‑lead the project through all phases, coordinate with delivery teams, and ensure design execution meets budgets and timelines

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to internal teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with tool installation, process equipment installation design, or semiconductor fab environments is a strong plus.
• Previous experience as a Design Lead or Engineering Project Manager in semiconductor/industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Craft and implement detailed project plans with technical specs, standards, and QC measures.
• Coordinate daily with delivery teams and align design execution with client expectations, schedules, and budgets.
• Serve as Design Liaison to client Tool Experts and Project Managers to resolve design constraints.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to manage scope and drive technical decisions.
• Identify risks, track progress, and address design challenges across fab operations.
