Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will guide toddlers through meaningful experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth, while providing a warm, safe, and engaging environment.

You will partner with families, serve as a positive role model, and contribute to a collaborative teaching team. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate lessons, maintaining safety and licensing

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.
• Genuine care for children and commitment to safety.
• Strong communication and ability to build relationships with families.
• Degree or coursework in ECE is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for toddlers.
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing ratios.
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families.
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and conferences.
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments.
