Busy Bees at Carefree, AZ is seeking a Lead Teacher to work with teachers and families to create a warm home-like environment for children in our care, following NAC guidelines. You will help design developmentally appropriate activities and maintain a safe, welcoming space.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families and adherence to state standards, with no evenings or weekend hours and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive childcare network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Must be able to work within regular operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards and AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans for the best care and education.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
