Job summary

Live On Nebraska seeks a Senior Tissue Procurement Coordinator to lead on-site tissue recovery operations, staff development, and scheduling. You will mentor teams, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards while honoring donors and families.

The role requires rotating on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize tissue recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or nursing with healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and tissue recovery procedures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and OR protocols.
• Proficient in time management and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage employee schedules to ensure staffing and coverage.
• Align training sessions with staff schedules and monitor impact.
• Participate in tissue recovery procedures and model best practices.
• Mentor staff and per diem members, identify training needs.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Manage inventory to prevent expiration and ensure supplies.
• Liaise between recovery teams and stakeholders as needed.
• Analyze operational data and suggest leadership improvements.
• Support training program development with the Tissue Educator.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including after-hours.
• Contribute to CAPA investigations and corrective actions.
