Job summary

ARCO / Murray Construction Company seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead tilt-up projects in the Richmond area. You will manage field operations, maintain schedule, budget, and quality, and enforce safety policies across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a lead superintendent on tilt-wall jobs, with proven leadership and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, owners, and architects to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years experience as a lead superintendent on tilt-up construction projects.
• Preferably on jobs of 100k sf or more.
• Able to make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize people, tools and equipment and plan/manage multiple activities.
• Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Attend post award review to receive project details for preplanning.
• Prepare construction activity schedules and staffing plans.
• Ensure adequate manpower to meet schedules.
• Direct and supervise craft superintendents and foremen.
• Review change orders and ensure proper cost accounting.
• Maintain safety program and company policies.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and owner/architect representatives.
