Job summary

Crystal Mountain in Washington is seeking a Lead Ticket Checker to supervise ticket checkers across lifts, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional guest service. The role requires leadership, ski/snowboard familiarity, and strong communication, with housing eligibility for some positions.

You will train new staff, coordinate lift maze setup, and maintain safety and policy compliance while delivering a top-notch guest experience in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Leadership and/or Ticket Checking lead experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ski/Snowboard experience preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to maximize time and resources.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

AssistTicket Checkersat multiple liftsin daily duties,identifyanddelegate tasks and projects forTicket Checkers, andgiveTicket Checkersbreaks. Understand howthe RFID gates and tablets work,know eachticket andpass type,and handle minorticket and guest issues. Ticket Checking Lead will work closely with Guest Serviceemployeeswhile handling ticket issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES-

• Efficientlyperform all duties of aTicket Checker

• Enthusiastically interact with guests at every opportunity and provide customer service

• Set up and break down multiple liftmazesdaily

• Lead your team ofTicket Checkersin assigned tasks and projects

• Must be able to adhere to all company and departments policies and procedures and set an example for others to follow

• Assistin training new employees

• Ensure all breaks are completedin accordance withDepartment of Labor policies

• Responsible for the overall appearance ofmazesand staff, as well as auditing supplies and documentation throughout the day

• Assistin physically demanding taskssuch as shoveling

• Conduct crowdcontrolin lift lines

• Have a professional appearance and demeanor

• Be respectful to all employeesand guestsat all times

• Must be dependableand reliable
