Job summary

ICR is seeking a Principal Scientist to lead the Thymic Regeneration Team in the Regenerative Immunology program. You will direct efforts to regenerate thymic function and rejuvenate adaptive immunity using iPSC-derived TECs and thymic organoids.

The role requires a PhD or MD/PhD, 10+ years of thymic biology and stem cell experience, and a strong track record in translational immunology and regenerative medicine.

Qualifications

  • PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of research experience in thymic biology or regenerative immunology.
  • Deep knowledge of thymic epithelial cell biology and iPSC differentiation.
  • Experience with organoid engineering and immune reconstitution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team developing iPSC-derived thymic epithelial cells (iTECs) and thymic organoids.
  • Design and optimize directed-differentiation protocols to generate functional TECs from human iPSCs.
  • Collaborate with ICR scientists to advance immune rejuvenation under a personalized medicine paradigm.
