Job summary

Idaho Youth Ranch Inc is seeking a Lead Thrift Store Associate to help manage daily store operations in one of our thrift locations in Idaho. You will contribute to fundraising by selling donated items and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers, while supporting mission-driven services for Idaho’s youth.

Must be enrolled in high school or have a diploma, be at least 16, and demonstrate strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to WOW customers.

Responsibilities

• Open, operate, and close the thrift store per schedule.
• Accurately compile daily sales and make bank deposits.
• Provide training and direction to store staff or volunteers as a lead associate.
• Represent Idaho Youth Ranch and uphold its mission in all customer interactions.

Must Haves:

• Be enrolled in High School or possess High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be 16 years of age
• Have strong customer service skills, be able to WOW our customers!
• Ability to work weekends
  

Our Lead Thrift Store Associates:

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch
• Performs functions related to the daily opening, operation, and closing of a store
• Compiles daily sales and makes bank deposits
• Serves as a leader by providing training and directing the store employees
