Hill Crest Behavioral Health in Birmingham, AL seeks a Lead Therapist to provide clinical direction, therapy services, and milieu management on the assigned unit. You will ensure program requirements, develop treatment plans, and oversee scheduling and documentation to deliver high-quality care.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and licensure (LMSW, LMFT, LPC, LICSW) in Alabama; at least two years of counseling experience; and the ability to

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing or closely related field.
• Current license or eligibility for LMSW/ALC/LMFT/LPC/LICSW in Alabama.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated excellence in counseling and social work.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate incidents with Risk Manager and Nurse Manager and inform Director of Clinical Services.
• Assure a therapeutic and safe environment and advocate for patient rights.
• Plan and coordinate program needs with other disciplines and activities.
• Evaluate total program effectiveness and implement changes as needed.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and report issues to Plant Operations as needed.
• Complete admission screening, discharge, and aftercare planning.
• Provide individual and family therapy as assigned and document promptly.

Conocimientos
