Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the therapeutic recreation program.
• Develops short- and long-term goals.
• Monitors the use of budgeted funds and capital.
• Interviews, hires, trains, assigns, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines personnel.
• Conducts regular staff meetings to discuss issues relevant to the therapeutic recreation program.
• Identifies and develops relationships with relevant community organizations.
• Researches and implements new therapeutic recreation programs.
• Arrange meetings with supervisor to report on progress and to receive feedback.
• Transports participants to and from assigned program sites in a passenger van.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
