Job summary

Lexington School District Two is seeking a Lead Theatre Technician to oversee the comprehensive A/V and data-network infrastructure for a 1,500+ seat performing arts facility. You will lead live sound, livestream audio, and networked production systems, including Dante networking, A/V switches, and VLAN‑segmented traffic.

You will supervise student interns and part‑time staff, coordinate with district personnel and external users, and help develop procedures to ensure safe, high‑quality events

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of live sound management and operational experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Direction preferred, or equivalent experience.
• DANTE level certification and/or strong A/V network skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical operations for performances, rehearsals, and events.
• Oversee setup, cabling, configuration, and troubleshooting of audio, video, and networked systems.
• Provide on‑site technical direction, safety procedures, and professional production standards.
