Beehive Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Externals, to lead manufacturing processes for external engine components at the Centennial, Colorado facility. The role focuses on precision fabrication, machining, welding, and inspection, ensuring safe, scalable production aligned with defense-grade standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense or related high-precision environments.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing process interpretation.
• Experience developing, qualifying, and sustaining production processes in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing process execution, capability, and production readiness for assigned areas.
• Translate strategy and requirements into capable, repeatable production processes.
• Develop and improve processes across additive manufacturing, machining, assembly, and inspection.
• Lead process implementation and production-readiness from NPI transfer through ramp.
• Ensure manufacturing controls reflect product characteristics and process intent.
• Create and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and routings.
• Provide technical support to Operations for safety, quality, and throughput issues.
• Manage engineering changes at the site, including tooling and operator training.
• Monitor site performance: yield, cycle time, scrap, and throughput.
