Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Palmdale, CA seeks a Test & Evaluation Engineering Manager 2 to lead the System Integration Lab (SIL) infrastructure, architecture, and HW/SW development integration test activities.

This role requires strong leadership of up to 10 direct reports and coordination across multiple IPTs in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes plan development, risk management, and rigorous test execution in a Top Secret environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 9 years of related engineering experience; or a Master's with 7 years; or a PhD with 5 years.
• Active USG Top Secret clearance with a recent background investigation or Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access via PAR prior to employment and sustain SAP PARs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of IFC efforts in a dynamic lab environment.
• Manage a team of engineers, providing T&E process guidance throughout all phases.
• Lead test team in developing robust nominal and off-nominal procedures.
• Work in Agile Scrum teams during all phases of Test.
• Lead IFC execution and task delegation; brief burn-up plans and status meetings.
• Collaborate with IFC management, Systems Engineering, Mission Assurance, and other IPTs.
