Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Test & Evaluation Engineering Manager 2 (1st Shift) in Palmdale, CA to lead the System Integration Lab infrastructure, architecture, and HW/SW development test team. Responsibilities include lab operations, staffing, planning, integration/test execution, and status reporting to upper management.

The role requires a STEM degree with 9+ years in engineering and an active Top Secret clearance; SAP access may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 9 years of related engineering experience, or equivalent advanced degree.
• Active USG Top Secret clearance with background investigation within past 5 years.
• Ability to obtain SAP access (PAR) before and during employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IFC execution in a dynamic lab environment.
• Manage a team of engineers and provide T&E process guidance.
• Lead test team in developing robust software test procedures.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure high-quality T&E lifecycle.
• Attend IFC management and customer meetings.
• Manage budget and schedule status for T&E networks.
• Position requires 10 direct reports; report to System Labs Department Manager.
