Job summary

magniX USA Inc is seeking a Test Engineer for Energy Storage Systems in Everett, WA. You will lead testing programs for ESS ranging from cell characterization to full integrated battery systems, supporting next‑generation electric aircraft propulsion.

The role requires 5+ years in battery testing, experience with battery cyclers and potentiostat systems, and HVDC proficiency. Competitive benefits and on-site work in Everett are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering; master's preferred.
• 5+ years battery testing experience including cell, module, and system validation (Li-ion preferred).
• Experience with battery cyclers (Maccor, Arbin, NEWARE or similar) and potentiostats (BioLogic or similar).
• High-voltage DC systems proficiency with HVDC sources and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Commission and operate battery labs and high-power test systems for development testing, verification, and failure analysis.
• Execute tests on cells, modules, and full ESS on test rigs and aircraft platforms.
• Develop test methods and instrumentation for ESS testing, including data acquisition systems.
