Job summary

Averro is recruiting for a Senior Test Engineer in Oak Brook, IL to design, execute, and optimize test programs for engineered systems. You will translate requirements into validated tests and collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and EHS to enable informed decisions.

The role emphasizes safety, data-driven outcomes, and adherence to quality standards with robust test equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry testing experience with leadership on test programs.
• Hands-on experience with pressurized systems, piping, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and execute test plans and experimental setups with approvals and documentation.
• Translate engineering requirements into actionable tests and collect data to support decisions.
• Lead test design reviews and partner with engineering, suppliers, and EHS.
• Execute testing safely, repeatably, and in compliance with quality standards; maintain equipment.
